  2. I must say I like the idea of multiple instances where you can choose which variables to display in a given instance…
  3. I can say that I assigned all of mine to separate rooms in HomeKit. I thought it was just me being OCD (especially as it was a pain determining which is which) but maybe doing that helped me
  4. I can definitely see how this would be super annoying. Not an issue in our house as every important keypad has a room off, or suite off button and often a House off button which we use for turning off multiple loads.
  5. Correct on what I was thinking. Whether it's one driver with subheadings or using multiple instances of the driver, would depend on what's possible within the driver architecture itself. It was thinking multiple instances to keep from long scrolls to find the info you want.
  6. The 'WHEN' is not a statement, it's a description of the triggering of the programming. In Composer programming, that's the event that happens, which is in the left pane in programming. The description (which does say 'When') is at the top of the programming screen once selected in the events pane. For example: When Office -> Office Lights turn on... [do this]. RyanE
  7. Hi Guys, I have an E5 controller and EA1 local to 4 rooms. It controls 4 devices, skyQ, sky mini, Roku and a fire stick. My wifi system is bullet proof and upgraded to full fibre. I have experienced loss of control of my sky mini box via my remote when my router has been switched off and allocated a different ip address to the device. This was solved by my dealer resetting via sky the correct address. However I have since experienced the same problem with my sky mini box. I can get the screen up but cannot navigate via the remote, hence I cannot reset the ip address for my sky mini. The remote controls all the other devices except the mini box. The tv screen shows the mini box is working so it can’t be the box. Is there anything I can try before I call my dealer? Cheers Ed
  8. Just adding my voice to the conversation. I'm having the same issue. Been happening for about a month. Pretty inconsistent on which playlists it happens on. The issue is as marc4 has described above, the song just continues to play seemingly forever. Thanks @ChrisHenderson for escalating the issue and helping to get it resolved.
  9. Hmm. I assumed that C4 doesn’t “know” or care about the relationship between HomeKit “rooms” and C4 “rooms” and, therefore, I just assign the virtual remotes to random rooms (and, generally, it seems to work for me without problem). IIRC it doesn’t even tell you (during activation of AppleTV controls) which AppleTV you are about to “place” in a HomeKit room, so not sure how you would even do that. That said, maybe it is bad to assign more than one AppleTV per room? I will experiment with that. Thanks.
  10. Have you deployed many of these? What do you lose with this versus a C4 touchscreen?
  11. In today's gaming landscape, the approach to playing games throughout your house has indeed evolved significantly from the Xbox 360 days. The shift towards cloud gaming and streaming services, such as NVIDIA's GeForce NOW, reflects the industry's move towards more flexible and accessible gaming experiences. GeForce NOW is particularly noteworthy for its ability to stream games you already own from various digital PC game stores directly to your devices.
  12. 100%… I use Noon Lighting OLED keypads for elevated control in my Savant systems. Especially since clients can add or remove their own touch buttons and system scenes. They are VERY cool and a HUGE PITA to use all at the same time. Tactile controls make a huge difference in our primitive daily routine.
  13. I suspected that would be the answer. Unfortunately pushing 2 buttons at the same time works in every other way (turns off both lights at the same time). In terms of supported, I'm not after the ability to program simultaneous taps in any way, I just want it to not trigger programming. Still feels like there's a bug somewhere even if it's unexpected behaviour. It gets my wife all the time when she's turning off the lights in the house. She presses both buttons to be efficient at turning things off, but then activates the double tap programming unintentionally.
  14. I have this issue intermittently as well. I have 3 halos and 7 appleTV’s. The issue resolves itself normally but it happens with my theatre room Apple TV most times. That on also looses the ability for Siri. The only thing I have done to fix the issue was to make sure that each remote that gets created in HomeKit was assigned to a room with the AppleTV in your HomeKit.
  15. Pretty sure pressing 2 buttons at same time isn't supported
  16. May I ask a really dumb question, been seeing alot of the "WHEN" programming but when I look at composer in the programing sections I only see Else , And Or etc - what am I missing where does the "WHEN" condition come from?
  17. I personally despise the 'modern' C4 look but to each there own. I much prefer the 'traditional' version (especially in midnight black with an actual stainless steel cover). That said, tastes will differ. I do like these: https://www.axxind.com/smarthome/touch-keypads/ Rithum is another options that I've looked at but never used them. I'm concerned about speed of control a bit on those and just had zero time to trial them. In the end, we've done VERY few alternative options - because the added cost of alternative keypads with less snappy control, or much more expensive keypads that work just as well tends to convince even the most 'liquid' clients. We've played with some KNX options and things like the blacknova aria but it's rarely gone anywhere, and frankly they rarely work quite as well as a regular keypad. Most cases it's a few alternate options in specific locations such as decked out theatres but the majority still regular keypads. The problem with the overly fancy options is also that they POP a lot more. Which is nice in a demo setup and looks great on a web page showing one of them....but it tends to become this obvious thing sticking out on every wall of your house if you put them everywhere and actually can feel like MORE wall clutter, not less. Just something to consider. Also, while the 'touch' look is again nice, think of how you live and move around in the house. A 'tactile' keypad over the course of a bit of time become muscle memory - you walk across the house and merely 'feel' what button to press, do so blindly and move along and you get what you want. Generally for any touch options - you will ALWAYS stop and look at what you're doing. Not telling you NOT to do alternate and fancy options - but don't get drawn too much into the look of something, that may be better of not being noticeable at all. Those are touchscreen alternatives, as in an alternative for using a touchscreen, not so much keypads, and I find them rather 'meh'
  18. Yes, I much prefer these: https://axionlighting.com/product/axion-android-poe-touch-panels/ So much cheaper too....
  19. @msgreenf any thoughts on the bug report now that my recording has made it clearer? I may have to change all my programming to triple-tap to avoid the bug (since I sometimes press two buttons in close succession, but it's near impossible to push three buttons in close succession).
  20. Driver update released. Now supports Daily Totals (updated at 30 minute intervals). Thanks @Topfox for supporting testing.
  21. All of our drivers come with a free 30 day trial, so you can always test to see if it meets your requirements. That said, the intent of this driver is just to show and allow a user to alter the values of any Variables that have been created within Variables Agent, from within 'Agents' of Composer. I think I now understand what you are trying to achieve - Basically, you are suggest you would duplicate Variables within the Agents, so that whenever the driver variable changes, it updates the Agent Variable to the same value. Then, you would like the driver to show all these values all in the one WebUI, and potentially separated by 'Headings', eg. "HVAC", "Lock Status" etc. So the user could just scroll up/down and see everything? This is certainly achievable, using the same UI design, but would need to be a different driver.
  22. Just to let everyone know, v2 of System Scheduler has been released based on popular requests. v2 implemented the following new features: Rename 'Description' in the UI to 'Name' to align with Composer naming conventions. Implemented optional Pin code protection. Implemented ability to hide schedules.

  24. Sir, this is Tyler do you have anymore Halo remotes?

  25. No, it is still not working for me. I just checked on iOS and confirm that one of my cameras has a visible event on Monday, but it doesn't show up in the filter for the last 7 days. Thanks
  26. Has anybody had any success controlling the Lyngdorf TDAI 2170? Lyngdorf have a serial .c4i driver downloadable from their website. This allows some control (power on, volume up/down, mute toggle, preset filters) but the power off and HDMI commands do nothing. Weirdly when I tried the serial driver for a different Lyngdorf model (TDAI 3400) the HDMI commands do work but no power commands or preset filer commands work. The info notes for the driver say it is developed by Janus, they no longer list it and the driver is encrypted to stop editing in DriverEditor. Any help would be much appreciated.
