Static electricity is no joke and can wreak havoc on electronics.  Certain carpet cleaners are known to raise the level of static electricity too.
Their assumptions don't seem to far off to me, I've seen it myself.

Since you worked for a dealer, you know the rules.  You need an email that’s associated with a dealer account.
Find another dealer to work for??

Battery life has added an additional day off my charger.
what I wish we have is to be able to adjust the sensitivity of motion/wake.  My subwoofer does wake the remote a good amount of times.

The remote doesn’t display .5 volume.  At least for my Marantz, Denon and Yamaha’s I’ve installed, you'll notice the volume stays on a whole number for 2 button presses.
    is that what you’re seeing??
Adding that programming is just going to cause problems.

I just did a bunch of these recently at a commercial project.  All of them however were tied back to an access control system.
Basically, run an 18/4 from any C4 controller with a relay to where the connection is on the door.
Youll need a 12v or 24v power supply (whatever the lock requires) to energize the lock.
Then you’ll have to wire the power supply between a contact and relay on the C4 controller.
A C4 keypad (dc or ac powered) can be installed to wirelessly control the lock through programming.

I for one don’t play around with my stats.  I set a schedule and that’s the way it stays.  But yes, using any other interface with the stat works perfectly fine.
I also have mini splits at home for AC in the summer, so when I shut down my boiler for the season, the stats can be used for temp in the rooms, even though they are set to off.
And because there isn’t an official Mr. Cool driver, I use an http driver to send commands to the mini splits, if needed.

Based in NE as well here.  I wouldn’t do any of that above.
install temp sensors at each thermostat location and move all thermostats down to the boiler.  Install a separate 24VAC power supply and wire each thermostat to it for constant power.
This is what I’ve done in my own house and many others that have the same systems.

No knock on you Neil, I’m sure you did everything right.  Example of customer relaying information that they don’t have or understand.

If your dealer was paying attention to your needs for HE they maybe wouldn't have installed 3.4.1. Doesn't seem smart to install bleeding edge for a new customer.

This is where that VideoStorm switch shines as it does the ramp down of audio, plays announcement, then ramps back up.  I never had to add any additional silent audio to the announcements for the signal sensing amps.
Which also doesn’t require using the snapshot driver to capture each room.

That audio switch has a built-in announcement feature.  However, I don't recall if fading was part of it.  Videostorm would be able to answer this for you though.

You can keep the walls white by making your own foam wall panels.  It’s pretty easy to do and is a fun, moderately priced, project.  But I’d also make sure to have a dark material surround for the screen.
you’ll be satisfied in the end no matter what.  As long as your budget is happy, you’re happy.

Bindings all depend on what you're trying to accomplish.  Binding lights or lighting scenes has better, quicker, granular control when a button is bound to said light or scene vs. programming it.
Also, this is assuming you're using the newer Gen3 keypads and not the original 6-button keypads.  See below for examples

The up/down arrow keys need to be set as "follow last button press" in order to do what your asking for multiple device control.  It will work exactly as you describe, press lamp button, then up/down will dim.  Same with music button, up/down on volume control.  All of these actions do need to be bound to a driver's connections in order to achieve this.
All newer gen buttons/dimmers/switches support single/double/triple actions.
They do offer a keypad switch, but only in EU, nothing for USA.  Dimmer only.  The dimmers can be set for instant on/off of a load, but the same dimming principles apply.  The load must be capable of dimming.  Don't expect to use it for fluorescent lighting in the garage or anything.  Could easily damage the dimmer or ballasts.

Well outdoor TV’s typically have a compartment to store said extenders and also covers the inputs.
Without some sort of enclosure, extenders and even the TV inputs may not last too long outdoors.

Uray 1080p has been working great for me and some customers for years.
Havent tried their 4K versions yet.  I don’t really see the need for it.
If it’s a dedicated area like a media room or theater, it should be using dedicated sources for the best quality.

I don’t use Apple so can’t help there really.  But at least you have a voice option for it, when it works.

You do not need to make macros like to turn your products On and or to correct inputs.  The C4 logic already does that.
Create your scene name.  In programming, event side, find your scene.  On the actions side, select the room name.  Select the ATT mini app as the source in the room.
Also, no need for experience button either, unless you want a button to do the same as the voice control.
