  1. I tested the router port by plugging my hc800 directly to the same port I was using for the switch. The 800 worked normally. I then unplugged other C4 hardware from the switch and plugged them into the remaining router ports, everything worked. I went back to the switch and tried it again, no life/no lights at either of the two ports and at the router. I even powered it down over night and powered it back up this morning... All the ports show green, fans running, but no lights at the Ethernet cable port linked to the router.
  2. As the title states, my FGSW-1828PS went south on me due to back to back to back power outages from our utility company working down the street. The UPS did it's thing, but when power was restored, I had no C4 functionality. I narrowed it down to the POE Switch that was not communicating from the router and to the rest of the hardware tied into the switch. The switch powers and is running, but neither of the RJ-45 network ports are functioning. I pulled out an old Netgear 8 port unmanaged switch and I'm currently using this switch for the main items in my C4 setup. I did try to log into the switch, but I get "this site can't be reached." Could the switch be locked out/disabled (security feature), or a failed power supply to these ports? Thoughts? Thanks. Scott
