  1. Hey, folks - listed a few items from my existing project for sale. All in working order, and as described - this is a savvy bunch, so I know you know what this stuff is, but feel free to ask questions: Control4 C4-MP2-E Media Player Control4 Wireless Thermostat WT-100 + EC-100 controller
  2. Hi, all, Looking to connect an external monitor to an HC-800 to see the boot screen and any messages/status displayed during upgrades. Is it possible to use one of the USB ports with an adapter to display on screen boot status and the on-screen navigator, once booted up? Thanks for any advice you may have!
  3. Someone out there can likely repurpose this as a speaker point on an older system. In working order with v1.8.3 installed. Bid via link below of PM me to make an offer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/152461771177?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

    Seeking HC-800 19V Power Supply

@C4Jockey @Thatguy230 - after doing a bunch of research, I acquired a handful of replacement power supplies for the hc800 - if either of you or someone you know is still interested, DM me for more info. I have 2 left, selling for $45 each.
  7. @Cyknight - @adamt - have you guys been able to successfully use these 1st gen amps in current projects at 2.6 and above?
  8. Hey all - I seem to recall reading a while back that the original Home Theater Controller (AVM-HTC1-B) could be repurposed as a speaker point, or at least as a remote audio pre-amp. I have one laying around and was curious to know about various ways in which these can be repurposed to perform different tasks in a modern system, if at all. I looked around to see where this has been mentioned before and couldn't find anything on the forums here, so my apologies if this has been covered before.

thanks, @Thatguy230 This is tempting, but the listing doesn't specify the voltage (19V) or the connector inner and outer diameter.

As a 2007 early adopter, this goes down as yet another Control4 Classic. I call this chapter: "Roll Your own Accessories".

    Seeking HC-800 19V Power Supply

Who said they could, @Cyknight? 28 posts, and not one mention of price, availability, or order info. Your earlier post (like almost all of your posts) was super helpful. Although, in my case, I cannot seem to find this part locally, and cannot find a US retailer that carries them. I've found a ton of AU and NZ ecomm sites that have it, but closest I've gotten is Canada: http://www.btw-electronics.net/PLUGS-JACKS-ADAPTERS-CABLES-CONNECTORS/DC Coaxial Plug 3.1mm ?sort=p.model&order=DESC&page=7&limit=50 Got any leads on a US online distributor that carries these exact plugs?

    Seeking HC-800 19V Power Supply

Thanks, @Cyknight - I found a place or two that has these connectors. Must say, however, that it is absurd to have to fabricate a power supply for a 4yr old product. Shocked that no dealers here can offer to order a replacement power supply from C4...

    Seeking HC-800 19V Power Supply

@Cyknight - the specs or name of this male connector type is the biggest mystery here: when you have a sec, would you mind sharing a link to the exact male connector tip that would work for the HC-800 PSU? many thanks in advance!
