Hi all, I am cleaning out my c4 project and noticed my nest driver was no longer connecting. I migrated my nest account to google account. Maybe thats the issue but anyhow, when I attempt to go to the Google Authentification URL, i get an error saying it cant find any control4 devices. Anyone seen this ? Or did I maybe mess it up by going to a google account ? (from reading in old posts it seems like it used to be an issue a few years ago). Thanks

Hi All, Anyone actually have the RYSE shade modules installed and have good feedback ? I'm considering installing some on my plastic chained blinds. Also there is a driver on drivercentral that looks promising. Any feedback on that would also be great. Thanks

Hi All, I have a gas fireplace which works with an IPI module. ( Intermittent Pilot Ignition, not a burner that's always on). I currently have it setup like this : HC-800 Relay output soldered onto the fireplace panel. (Very not secure probably I know). Its been working fine for 10 years. However, I cannot control the intensity of the flame. Its on full power or off. Which is an issue really. I would like to completely control it in control4. The fireplace came with a remote which I presume is RF protocol.(proflame transmitter 0.584.023) Is there a driver / hardware module that allows such integration seamlessly into c4 ? Thanks.

Same here. Basically on off. Would the brightness driver be enough? That would remove the on off And rgb. 0 brightness would turn it off. then i plan on using experience buttons for the colors i want.

Makes sense. what i meant by issues is i end up with many lights in my control interface on/off Brightness red green blue what is the best practice to make it more friendly user ?

Hi All, I am currently upgrading my old Hue V1 bridge to a V2. I am having issues getting stuff working correctly in c4. Read so many threads but it getting confusing. Maybe it's because I have both bridges still in my project. Anyhow, is there a good driver to purchase other than the free one ? I see som stuff online but not sure which is best. There is also a nice color wheel one available but im trying to make the best move. Any advice would be very appreciated.

Hi All, I know there is a similar thread but I figured id start from skratch. I have an old v1 Hue bridge. Got several lightsrips working fine. Just added a gledopto controller for a strip in my office. I can control it with the Hue app. However, when we add it to control4 (os 3.2) , I can control it like the others using the Single lamp on/off. I noticed my working drive versions are driver version 8.0.4. The new one we found in the online database is version 8.3.2. Do I need a new v2 bridge to get around this ? Or what other workaround are we missing here ? (cant seem to find the 8.0.4 version) Also, I am still running the old Hue Bridge driver for up to OS 2.8, What is the benefit of going to version 2.9 and above ? Thanks

Hi All, I am thiking of moving away from apple music so I can get better integration into my control4 system. Any advice on Spotify VS Amazon Music ? (im in Canada and found that Amazon is now supported). I would like to be able to browse directly on the control4 app and not have to add songs in the Amazon app to then be able to find it in control4..not sure if spotify allows direct browsing... Hi all, I am currently running my CCTV camera's on a 9 channel wirepath DVR. I want to slowly replace out some of the cameras (they are old and poor resolution). I need some recommendations. I would like to go to some POE cameras obviously. I dont want to spend a fortune either so I doubt ill go with the latest and greatest from control4 (pakedge) I am thinking about Unifi, Axis, hikvision.. Now how will this all play in the mix if I have a 9 channel DVr with a few extra POE's ? Will i get to record the POE's into wirepath of will they simply be used to view in the control4 app ? Also, I have 2 locations that I just cannot run a cat5 cable. Is there any compatible wifi IP cameras that would integrate into control4 ? Thanks.

Hi all, I have a wirepath 9 channel NVR setup in my control4 environment. One of those camera is wired for PTZ and works fine using 3rd party software. In the control4 app, is there a way to use the PTZ feature ? Is there a driver made for this ? Thanks

Tidal seems interesting but not worth 20$ a month for the use I make of it. I would love Amazon Music as Im all in with alexa in my house. I have acces to their streaming device on all my echo dots so Im wondering is theres a way to get that to feed into my control4 amp. I did some research and saw some other threads talking about it but maybe something new has come up. Perhaps with an echo input ? Is there a way to use vocal commands with the epic systems driver to play music. from the echo input that would be tied into the c4 amp ? I would like to be able to trigger this from any echo dot I speak to... Thanks

Im confused as well honestly. I thought they were working on a patch for 2.10.6 as I dont want to purchase a controller and upgrade to os3 as my system is stable besides the epic driver.

Correct. But there is no mention for os2 on 2.10.6. If you can provide a rough ETA for that release, I could decide whether or not I will upgrade to os3 and purchase a new controller. Thanks as always.

Since Nest can use geofencing to know if youre home or away, can control4 be used to trigger off that for geofencing pusposes ?
