  1. I have the 8 zone amp and the input is plugged into number 7. I have the audio sensing turned on, and when it does I programmed it to select the amp and to choose the Dot as the audio source. Problem is, it never does it, and I'm not sure what to do next. If I manually select the Dot from the remote the audio is playing over the speakers, but it won't do it by itself.
  2. Hi, I have a Dot in my kitchen and I've run the RCA cable to my basement when I have the C4 amp. I've plugged in the RCA to input 7 and it has been binded. I have speakers in the kitchen that are also run to the C4 amp. The question is, when I ask Alexia a question, how do I get the audio to play on the kitchen speakers and only the kitchen speakers? Basically anytime I ask Alexia something I want it answered over the kitchen speaker. I understand that if I play music, I can add the Dot to other rooms as a source to hear the audio. Thanks in advance, Ryan
  3. Just wondering if anyone is working on a driver for the Blink security camera systems. Thanks!
  4. Solved, thanks! I don't know how to delete the topic. 😐
  5. Hi everyone, Over the last couple days now when we were watching TV I noticed that my receiver attached to the HC300 would all of a sudden turn up the volume on its own. Thing is, it maxes the volume and doesn't stop trying to max the volume. I can see the IR flashing and trying to turn the volume up. I have to pull the plug on the IR to get it to stop. I wait an hour or so and plug it back in, again within an hour it does the same thing. I've rebooted the whole system and the 300, I've also refreshed the navs. Okay, what is going on and how do I fix this? Thanks, Ryan

  7. Under address assignment in my router, the following have static address: AppleTV HC-200
  8. I did the scan and it does have an IP on the network (the 250) it also has a MAC address. I accessed my ATT router and want to know do I leave enable firewall for the 250 or disable?
  9. I will get with my installer today and get the answers to these question. Thanks so much!
  10. I'm not sure what managed or unmanaged means. Also I believe my installer said the 250 is not static. I will run that scan tonight.
  11. I would assume the AT&T router / modem is doing the DHCP it is set to automatic, and the NAT. I have 2 48 port gigabit switches attached as well. So from the AT&T router out to the 2 48 port switches, that is it. Most C4 equipment is plugged into the gigabit switches, as well as everything else like smart tvs, internet connections, Appletvs, etc. Forgive me if I don't understand all the lingo, I'm learning on the go. Do you think I'm missing a piece of equipment here?
  12. Hi Everyone, I will try to keep this as short as possible but I really need your help. My system: About 54 dimmers and switches. HC300 (3) HC200 HC250 (Director on here) HC1000 7" Infinity (2) 5" Infinity (2) outlet dimmers card access thing to open my garage door 8 zone amp system tied into my Concord4 security system with the bus unit (5) 250 remotes added to system, 3 AppleTV's I know it's not a huge system, but here is the issue, I have AT&T Uverse as my provider. Just recently added the HC250 to my system and put director on it. Ever since, Control4 is intermittently responding and sometimes director doesn't show up. I can't "check in" to have work done because director doesn't show up. I had AT&T out to replace the router and still did not help. I was now told to get my own router and to get the Draytek 2830Vn. It is ordered and I'm waiting on it. In the mean time, is this going to fix my problem? Any idea what is happening? Why all of a sudden is this happening? My system has run great for three years. I asked the Uverse guy to make the AT&T router a modem only and he said they can't do that. So what do you think of the router I bought? Is it going to help? Will the speed of my system return and will it get everything back to normal with no conflict with the Uverse router? Any comment would be great, thanks guys for taking the time to read.
  13. How about a Spotify app, I'm sick of Rhapsody!
