  1. I have an application with axis PTZ cameras that C4 will switch to when motion is detected or on command. The user then sees the active video feed on screen through JAP. I would like to integrate the SR250 or any C4 remote as a pointing device into a windows server I have running the video management system. Has anyone already mapped out making the remote an input device, or has anyone heard of a computer input device remote that could send ZB commands ?

I actually could have used this two years ago - however since it requires the gateway which is a subscription and yet another possible attack vector into the house (somehow) - I just went simple - You open up the door buttons, solder two leads onto the switch, and run them to the dry close terminals of the IO controller on C4. Then add your own mag closure sensors on the doors. Done

  4. Unfortunately nothing that I tried worked - so I fell back 10 and punted. Meaning - I setup another VM this time with windows 7 - clean, and loaded it and it worked fine. There is some file/version dependency that exists - but since it had to do with keys (crypto) I assumed the root keys or CA keys in my version were out dated and HE was COMPILED with only a later version That guess proved correct
