I`ve been using the PushNotify driver from Brightsky for a couple of years. bought it 2015 through Houselogix. Some weeks ago the driver suddenly stopped working. i tried reboot controller, my dealer changed API-key and verify the license key. But the LUA output just end with Message sent to server, when I send a message. When I create a notification through web, I get the message. So I`ve verified that its just through Control4 it doesnt work. i then tried to get support from houselogix. At houselogix site I get the message that if I need support I should contact SnapOne. Snap cant help me because I didnt buy the driver throygh them, and point me to Blacwire Designs. Blackwire is now the reseller of an updated Push Notify driver, but they dont support legacy driver. So how could I proceed to get support for a driver? Any suggestions?

Correct, and that is because Sonos driver cant control the soundbar in a good way to change between inputs and use it with TV or music only. Its all about driverintegration, if the driver is holding you back, it wont be a pleasant experience.

As i understand, your question isnt C4 vs Sonos, but best way to play Apple Music in C4-equpped home. My answer to that would be Bluesound. Ive been using Sonos for 12 years, and Control4 for 10. For music only, Sonos rocks. But combined with automation, video and all the stuff that C4 rocks, the two are not compatible in my opinion.

Maybe no-one else is running OS 2.x anymore, but would be nice to hear speculations why coverart shows in one view but not another. attached a picture to show the issue.

I have an issue that i wonder if someone else is experiencing. When I scroll in music/movies library, no matter what source, I see my coverart. I start my album/track/movie, but when i open now-playing-view the coverart is missing. This is consistent on all my iOS-devices, and all sources. OS-app firmware is 2.10.17.103 same for everyone?

Are you sure this is a apple update failure? My connection broke yesterday, but im on tvOS 13.2 an iOS 13.3. Controller is EA5. What i did update was my UniFi controller and USG firmware. but dont see how that could have this effect. did try to reconnect apple bridge without any effect.

Any response to this? Is this an issue you heard of before, or does everyone else have search-capability on their iphone with ios13? I cant be the only one that cant go to OS3, Because of to many EA-controllers? Edit: My bad, meant HC-controllers, not EA.

That is correct, im using the latest 2.10.X os. Some of my drivers are up to date, and some are not. But you believe this issue is related to drivers and not iOS? I’ve verified that it works in iOS12 on iphone, works on 8.2 on iPad, works on iPadOS, but not on iOS13 on iPhone.

All of them. Deezer, music library and stations. Thats all I have that should have the ability to search.

The new driver will leave you disapointed. You will lose music-services, library-search, audio-matrix, announcement and some other things.

How do you know that volume out is fine? I’ve experienced that volume out from my EA5 changed to 0 after a poweroutage. Could be a longshot, but worth checking. Your dealer is able to do a quick check, and could also see if your amp got the right connections.

Volume out, did yo check that its not at 0?

Have the same issue with win10 pro, running as my family's fileserver Until a couple of weeks ago i used WHS2011 instead. That worked, and I had no idea it would be so hard (impossible?) to get this functionality with a later Win OS. All in Win10Pro is improved compared to WHS2011, but it looks I have to roll back to WHS because of this. I've tried to put WHS as a virtual server within my Win10, using VMware. But the filetransfer from the virtual machine was too slow so I ditched that idea before i tried it out completely. Why is it so hard to get Composer to connect to these shares? Does Cyknight know?

Dont push your ideas on me. I AM a end user, and me and my family lives in our house. But I have a stable network, and when something fails, its not the network. If you have network trouble, fix your network. Dont use another type of command, and say you fixed a solution. If you know how the SR-250/260 works, how could you come up with this idea? Sound like you hit your head, but instead of drawing a flux capacitor, you came up with dual commands and believes that IR fixes everything.

It would be stupid as f@#k! my own system have 3 displays, all IR-controlled. So if something goes wrong it could be a solution to turn on the displays with the remote. But...they all have sound and inputs going through AV-switches that is controlled with IP or RS232, so I still can't hear anything or chose a source. And how should the remote go into "backup-mode"? If you just want to use it when everything fails, you can't control something that has failed. That includes a remote that is supposed to start sending IR-commands. The other option would be to always have it active. And if you happen not to point to your TV when you start your room, now you have an issue as most TV's have on/off-toggle. Or what about when you have your TV in front of you and your STB besides you? If you want your control-systems remote to send IR, you dont need a control-system, or have it poorly designed.

Great Job! I checked with my dealer about these IR-drivers, but he says they´re not on EV´s pricelist. Is it possible to buy these drivers today, or is pricing yet to be anounced?
