  1. You need to do why Cyknight said and go to the properties of the switch/dimmer/keypad and adjust the LED settings there. If that isn't working verify the switch is online.
  2. Just to make sure I'm following you have a pair of speakers in the ceiling that was already part of the C4 system and you bought a Sonos Arc and Sub? If that's the case the only way to make this clean is to buy a Sonos amp to power the in ceiling speakers and set up a 5.1 in the Sonos system, although how well that will work is dependent on where the in ceiling speakers are physically located in the room. That also changes your music listening experience taking those speakers off a C4 matrix/amp and putting it on Sonos.
  3. I've yet to find a way to make the frame tv's do what you want them to do every time.
  4. The certification is tied to the individual but it's only any good if you're with an active C4 dealer. Whichever dealer you're with would just have your profile transferred to them and they'll get you an active account with logins, etc.
  5. I have tested this setup in my house and so far I'm pretty pleased. Not quite as smooth fading from color to color as DMX but a good solution for the price.
  6. Yes, you can turn the fan speed controller into a regular keypad that you can program to do whatever you want, you just can't reconfigure the button layout. The bond driver should have discreet speed commands, I've done exactly what you are trying to do in the past.
  7. Doesn't seem to be a C4 issue. Could be an issue with your controller or network. If your controller can't reach the C4 cloud alexa won't work.
  8. Definitely don't take the don't use loops suggestion personally. I used to tell all of my dealers to not use them for exactly the reasons Cyknight mentioned, guys who have been programming for years and years. That said, to try to address your issue without knowing all the details it seems like you're going to need to incorporate a variable you control in some way they use the change in that variable to kill your loop. But like Cy said again, be very careful. It's not fun to accidentally send director down an infinite loop crash and try to have a handful of seconds after a reboot to try to log in and fix it before it crashes again.
  9. So Tidal doesn't have "channels" but they do several things I think would accomplish what you're hoping for. You can search for genres and in there you'll find albums, new music, playlists created by Tidal, playlists created by others, etc. They also post personalized mixes for you that incorporate some songs you've listened to and other songs that would be similar. If you run through a playlist either you've created or a public one, once that playlist is over it automatically kicks into kind of a pandora mode where it continues on with a mix of artists/songs similar to what you were listening to. I've been relatively pleased with it for a long time now as using the mixes and continuing to listen after the end of a playlist puts some new music in there to the point where I rarely feel like it's gotten stale. Add in good integration and I'm pretty happy.
  10. When it happens does the C4 system think the room is off?
  11. You download pro from the dealer portal.
  12. The amount of time it would take to ramp/fade the scene when pressing and holding a button with that scene bound to it.
  13. Think you may have mixed up your words there. Unless you know what you're doing avoid using managed switches. Probably best for people who don't know networking to not start messing with managed switches.
  14. I've been selling mostly Denon for the past year because they work, have reliable integration, and most importantly I could actually get them
  15. There is something wrong with your network. What kind of network gear do you have? How is it wired together? When was the last time the system checked in on my.control4.com?
  16. Using custom buttons would consolidate those commands and clean up your interface but aren't as elegant as experience buttons. The Halo touch has more buttons than the Neeo which may make several of those commands you've mentioned you added unnecessary.
  17. You're going to want to get a dealer involved. If you factory reset it you'll need one to add it back into your system anyway. You also can't just wire it into the router as it needs POE. Hate to say it but you're in over your head trying to fix this on your own.
  18. C4 knows about this and did something so that the next time the director checks in it should fix it. It's probably fixed by now honestly.
  19. Is there a reason you're using a variable and not just programming off of the state of the room? Also you don't need that use on/off command. Just make sure the keypad button is set to programmed in the driver properties and use set LED current color to "x"
  20. The only "must have" I would say every system needs is a good dealer relationship.
  21. Well of course the project I had a call about was working today. They ran through my entire network and system setup and the only thing they did was run a patch that didn't have any intercom fixes and told me to turn off ipv6 in my router. Guess we will wait and see.
