    RGB Tape

Seems like there should be an easier solution than having to run DMX though the house to control RGB led tape. Is there another power supply solution that is either zigbee, wifi, or IP that would work better? There is hue of course but it's so expensive and not very bright. Thoughts? There are lots of good brands. All of them need new batteries every 3 years. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

They all do. The right size APC Smart Ups will cover you. You just need to figure out what your load is. You want to shoot for 50% Avaliable capacity. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

That sounds as complex as all the wacky ideas running through my head. here is the little motion that could be mounted in the lamp. http://nycecontrol.com/products/ncz3041c4/

    Lamp Touch Control

Yeah that's kinda where I landed with this as well. I think I am going to just put a little zigbee motion in the lamp shade. Not the same but close. It would be a nice addition to the plug in dimmers to have a touch sensor as I am sure lots of people would like this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Lamp Touch Control

I have 2 metal lamps on c4 dimmers. I am looking for a way to trigger them via touch. It seems like I could make a capacitance sensor and tie it to a contact closure. However this will be messy. Has anyone done something like this with maybe a zigbee something? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
