  1. Reduced the price on the EA-3 to $650. Can upgrade the EA-3 to version 3, and take the 250's to 2.10.6
  2. Both HC-800's are gone. The EA-3 is looking for a new home, and the 250's would combine nicely with the touchscreens for a good starter system.
  3. Yes. Both are BL-1. EA3 does not come with the serial adapter, but I can throw one in with it for an extra $20.
  4. I have the following used inventory to get rid of: 2 1 - HC-800's (2.9.1, with Rack Ears): $150 each (2 sold) 4 3 - HC-250's (all on 2.10.4): $50 each (1 sold) 1 - EA-3 (on 2.10.4): $700 $650 (reduced price) 2 - 7" In-wall Touch Screen (Model C4-TSWMC7-EG): $100 each All items are in excellent working condition and include original packaging. Pricing does not include S&H.

  6. $125 and hour may be a little steep, but that all is market/region dependent. Sure, you can rush through installing in-ceiling speakers, but it's best to at least figure 30 minutes a speaker to make sure everything is done properly. So figure 2 hours in labor for the 4 speakers alone, another hour or two for the speaker wire, then termination, cleanup, etc. From an estimating standpoint you're looking at a day's labor. From the C4 standpoint the most important thing he (your dealer) needs to be aware of is your network. If you've got a solid and reliable network, setting up a single room with an EA-3 (or EA-1), with the equipment you listed, isn't going to take a whole lot of time. At the end of the day, you've got a room with a Kaleidescape system and some nice equipment, so don't short change the room on control or the Atmos install.
  7. The other added benefit of the EA3 and EA5 is better High Resolution Audio support.
  8. The EA3 is better suited if you plan on adding onto the system in the future.
  9. Thanks. The way you are handling images sound like a better way of handling them. I wish C4 would consider taking a similar approach.
  10. How many movies, shows, music, etc. do you have? I've wondered why C4 embeds thumbnail images into the XML media lists as opposed to referencing individual jpg images, and have wondered if that causes delay in processing. Alan, does C4 extract those images upon import or on the fly?
  11. Well... they are sexy videos. Seriously... how could they have been construed as inappropriate?
  12. From what I've gathered so far on SiliconDust's website is it won't be, but I will attempt to remain hopefull. Would be a nice inexpensive complete package if it did.
  13. Thanks. I'm not sure if the Homerun app is supported as a PVR backend or not. I guess the only way to get around it would be to have IR support built into the Kodi driver, to accommodate the IR remotes you can add to Kodi. It's not that I plan on using the Raspberry as a PVR, it'll mostly be use for movie playback, but the Homerun app works pretty well and can act as a nice backup with the wife and kids have tied up the 4 Comcast boxes. With the Raspberry on the HDMI matrix, I'd be able to use it for TV as well. Great work though on the app. Thanks.
  14. Is there anyway to map the remote number buttons to the keyboard number keys? I've been testing with the HD Homerun app on a Raspberry Pi, which works, but I can't change channel with C4 remote, have to use the keyboard.
  15. Finally got to test this out this evening. Works great so far, really great job with it.
