  1. I've had experience with both systems. However I've only used the first gen VS receivers. Performance and reliability JAP wins hands down For flexability and cost VS wins Don't even bother trying to use a gaming system with VS. The latency is between 400ms to 1 second. This latency also plays a big role in menu navigation, but once you get used to it it's not a deal breaker. VS picture in picture can be handy. The ability to add cameras as a video source is nice. Video tiling is also nice for watching multiple sports or digital signage. Lately my VS system has required a bit more maintenance then usual for some reason. However I am a installer / tech so it's not a big deal for me. But if I'm not home and it stops working I get an ear full from the wife and kids. One other thing that may be a deal breaker is if you have the same source on multiple TVs they can sometimes be out of sync. This can cause an echo if the rooms are within ear shot of one another. 2. Sonos software update

Still working for me. I'm in 8.2. Says there are no updates available Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. Use the generic IP camera driver and input the streams for the cameras (see below). Set the main stream to whatever you want as the driver will use the sub stream. This is a way better approach, as you can now set your main stream to the highest quality. Main stream is what gets recorded. If you just use 720p on the main stream you might as well just install a 1.3mp camera. RTSP Port 10554 Channel 1 Snapshot ISAPI/Streaming/channels/101/picture Channel 2 Snapshot ISAPI/Streaming/channels/201/picture Channel 1 RTSP Streaming/Channels/102 Channel 2 RTSP Streaming/Channels/202 Make sure you deleted any text from the mjpeg box in the driver. Also make sure your sub stream is set to h264 not mjpeg. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. Doorbird TV integration

Easiest way is to run a HDMI from your controller to your TV. If you can't do that then if your Sony has Android TV there may be an app you could use. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  5. Doorbird TV integration

Easiest would be through the osd from your control4 controller. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. Lutron Default Login

Might have to reboot the control4 controller or the lutron repeater. I've found this is required for the systems to communicate sometimes. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant do the shades stay in line with each other as they go up and down? Judging by your post they don't. I've noticed the somfy one's do a pretty good job even if the shades aren't the same size. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. Blinds

Do the Hem bars line up well in a room with multiple shades? I watched a couple of YouTube videos and they always seemed to be out of sync. Almost like it sends commands to each shade rather then a group command. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. Blinds

Yeah it was only a 5 channel module. They made it a 16 channel now. Other then that limitation, does it work well? We have only used the urtsii and the range is not very good. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. 4k 4x4 Matrix

In reality there is no huge benefit to an IP driver over an IR driver aside from needing to run a IR cable to the matrix. You don't need any 2 way feedback on a basic matrix and IR is more reliable then IP. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Only the ZigBee locks purchased from c4 will work. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  14. Control4 Loss of Control

Could be a network issue. Change anything regarding your network lately? New router or modem? If not just try rebooting everything. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
