  1. EA1 suitable for small project?

No. EA1 = 1 room You can't say control 1 room and then say but also have multiple audio zones. That means multiple rooms. The difference between EA1 and ea3 is 500 bucks. That's less than a touchscreen or new phone. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Matrix Switch Guidance

I was going to recommend JAP, but your budget needs to be adjusted to about $1,000-$1,200 per source and zone. 6 TVs and 4 sources is about $10,000 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  6. EA Series Controllers/Lilin Door Station

C4 does annouce major releases and updates/upgrades at CEDIA which is a month away. I agree though that replacement for newish EA series is several years away. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Doing your own install

I would question any electrician that is not willing to install a C4 switch that without any programming still behaves like a normal switch/dimmer. I would hate to have them install 3 or 4way switches knowing that a single dimmer and keypads is all that it takes. And, if I was building new house that I knew was going to be a C4 house, panellized loads would be SPECed. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  8. Doing your own install

In US it's required to have licensed electrician do the work, but if it's not new construction or permitted remodel/addition the inspectors are not involved and as they say anything goes. As a programmer, I'm not liable if homeowner does his own work and burns the house down. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

  10. My account is usually on latest for testing. Clients are on whatever is the stable version I installed when I was there, unless they can benefit from update or they have issues. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
