  1. Wireless Keypad/Dimmer

Keypad buttons configured as load followers are much more desirable in larger areas vs using multiple Aux switches. Also, remember that Aux switches can not be engraved so they sorts stick out and suck. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Hisense Driver

I made a driver for one. Let me see if I can post it here later. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  3. Control4 Relay

Wires to opener won't help you. If it's digital signal at keypad, it's also digital all the way to the opener. Soldering the wires to the switch (part you physically push when opening door) is relatively easy and bulletproof. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. AVR on screen display

Use an app. See everything -- for free.
  5. Echo Dot (Gen 2)

I really like the Alexa but it is limited to just 3 functions (Alexa, turn On/Off XYZ, as well as Alexa, set XYZ to xx%). So you can't say activate house off -- you have to say turn off the house. As already mentioned, if it's a lighting scene or programming trigger, you can control it. For music, anytime you ask for a song or station, Alexa will try to play it natively. You'll have to get creative and call your stations something that can be triggered with a "turn on station 103" for example. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. 4k Genie Mini response

No. Seems like you're having a sync issue. Have you tried different, shorter cable? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Small bedside remote...

If all you need is 1 or 2 functions program custom buttons on sr260. I have button 3 as goodnight scene with arming, lights, tstats, TV, music, etc. I programmed it to where I have to press it twice within 3 seconds to prevent accidental presses, since it's such a powerful macro. 8. DIRECTV Genie Power Control

Got it. Makes perfect sense. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  9. DIRECTV Genie Power Control

It's a setting in the driver. Simple "allow power off" flag. I would ask why you want it turned off? Doesn't save any power and you lose replay option. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  10. EA1 suitable for small project?

No. EA1 = 1 room You can't say control 1 room and then say but also have multiple audio zones. That means multiple rooms. The difference between EA1 and ea3 is 500 bucks. That's less than a touchscreen or new phone. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. Matrix Switch Guidance

I was going to recommend JAP, but your budget needs to be adjusted to about $1,000-$1,200 per source and zone. 6 TVs and 4 sources is about $10,000 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. EA1 suitable for small project?

  15. EA Series Controllers/Lilin Door Station

C4 does annouce major releases and updates/upgrades at CEDIA which is a month away. I agree though that replacement for newish EA series is several years away. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
