I just checked and have the Max volume set in the driver to 50 or less for all the rooms.

Installed one of these recently. The volume at anything past 50 was way too loud. You can set a max volume in the web GUI of the amp so I set it to 50 or whatever was appropriate for the room. The problem is that in C4 it still ramps from 0-100 BUT it stops getting louder when you hit the max level you set. So if I had a room set at max vol. 40 I can move the slider in C4 to 80 or 100 but it stops getting any louder at 40. 100 in C4 should be 40 on the amp or whatever the max was set to. This is a bad experience for the customer since they have the volume settings all over the place and nothing makes sense. I see they have some rooms at 40 and other rooms at 100 and everywhere in between and the volume is the same really everywhere. Then if they lower the volume as a group nothing will happen in the rooms that are at 80 until you get down to 40 or 50 or whatever the max set level is. So they are lowering and lowering and nothing is happening. Rooms that were at low levels are ramping down and other rooms are doing nothing. Customer wants it ripped out and don't blame them. Its a joke really and a reason to never install these amps. Support said that's just the way it is. Any other matrix amps that will work like a C4 or Triad amp where if you set the max volume at a low number you still have 0-100 ramping in C4?

Any drivers for this mount? It comes with IR remote so assume this can be learned in?

How would you "select" the group from the button?

We have Lutron RA2 Select running blackouts and shades in all rooms of a house where we are doing C4 lighting. Everything works fine if we program the shades to go to preset positions like open/close/50% etc on a button press. We have a button for day/night scenes where they press it and it works. They also want to have manual control to raise and lower. There are multiple shades and blackouts in every room so I assume we can use the blind group driver to group them. With lights and other things going on we don't have many buttons available so is it possible to program a single button to have push and hold action to raise and lower a group of blinds and also toggle. So if I push and hold the group of shades (or blackouts) in that room all lower. Release and they stop. Then if I push and hold again they will go the other way and open. Want it to work kind of like the native dimming controls on an APD. Is this possible and if so what would this programming look like? The other concern is that will the blind group driver keep the blinds in sync all the time? The concern is that since we aren't going to a preset position like 50% they may not always move evenly which of course would not make them happy.

I have a client that wants to move a painting out of the way to reveal the TV. It's a pretty large painting so it can't slide up or down since it's over a fireplace. Anybody do anything creative with this type of thing? They have a carpenter that will make an cabinets or millwork that needs to be done. Money pretty much doesn't matter.

Is there any way to play music purchased through Itunes on Denon Heos system? Does Heos do Airplay? If not then maybe an EA1 in the house would change things up and allow them to Airplay with the Shairbridge driver? Currently there is no C4 hardware in the house.

If I press play within a few minutes then do nothing until I press pause again. Then reset timer and if no play pressed...room off.

It is the specifics of those next commands that I don't know how to do.

Audio zone stays on all the time if paused so room always shows on unless powered off via app. If I put in programming for when digital media gets "pause" command to wait 5 minutes and shut off. This shuts the zone off but will shut the room down anytime pause command is received. How can I make it so that if I hit pause then there is some sort of conditional where if I press play again within 5 minutes it wont shut off the room? I setup a timer and I got the programming started by starting the time when the pause command is received but I don't know how to do the rest?

The Auto off will override any programming?

Is that assuming the same wash cycle is set every time? My washer goes is all over the place when on from 3W to 400W when spinning. What programming would be put in place to send me notification after it goes back to 0. After the wattage goes above a certain value start a timer and then check at the end of that timer and if it is not 0 then start it again? Keep the time short so you get close to when it shuts off? How would this programming look if this would work?

Looking to the best way to automate bathroom fans. I did some programming when they turned the light on the fan turns on and then when the light went off I delayed the 5 minutes and then the fan shuts off. What if they don't turn off the light at all but just walk out? Whats the best way to do this delayed shut off so they don't have fans running all the time?

Sorry for my ignorance but I’m looking to see the specific programming not an explanation of how it’s supposed to be done.

I want to use your Washing Machine experience driver and the TP Link driver with the HS110 to notify when the washing machine has finished. How would I use the TP Link driver to do that? It seems like it would be simple to setup to turn on and off a room with an XBox but don't know how to do the notification when the washer finishes?

I see C4 app drop and regain connections with Ubiquiti waps all the time as you roam around. Somewhat expected but annoying nonetheless.

Do you have any examples of what all caps and large size looks like?

There are dozens of surround modes. For a 5.1 system is there 1 is most commonly used for general usage: TV, Movies, Netflix, etc..? Would Dolby Digital be the go to? This has to be set it and forget it for the homeowner since they won't be making any changes

Looking at a Monoprice Monlith vs SVS. Both ported 12". Monoprice is about $600 less and online reviews look positive.

So you are buying bulk wire and connectors and making them up yourself?

I used those and they felt cheap and like you said they were stuff. I then used Snap’s cables which we’re nice but too long. I need shorties to go from amp to audio matrix. ill try the planets maybe

What is the go to for RCA interconnects. Need to connect C4 swith to amps. They are basically right on top of one another in the rack so they need to be short.
