Really how does one do that? I have been beating my head with tech support on this, and no have told me that ever!

I see what you are saying, It looks like I can enable null modem, on serial ports 3, and 4. However I believe those are mini ports, and was told I have to use the db9 ports?

that is correct. should not matter as far as i know.
