  1. We had to update our TV service from TiVo to Epico TV through our provider Cogeco in Canada here. All 4 of TiVo's were connected to this C4-LU862D HDMI matrix, I switched them to these new Android based TV boxes, out of 8 TV's connected, 3 of them show a black screen when I select it in the room. The other sources like Apple TV work fine. I have other TV's connected to this video matrix also working, just for some reason 3 of the smaller TVs don't work! They are all Sony TV from around 2015/2016. I was told to try EDID emulator, I don't have one handy to give it a try. If you have any other suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.
  2. Hope it's not too late to attach the file here. cable_Arris_VIP7802.c4i
  3. FYI, in case you guys come across the same model TV down the road. I got onsite to finish off the Core upgrade, found the IP Control settings and setup a pre-shared key! I use another drive XR-65X90L and it allowed me to use IP control. With a different model IP driver, I have to bind using IP instead of SDDP address. Tested and all is working well.
  4. I'll go onsite later this week to complete the upgrade with a new Core processor, will double check the TV settings. I believe when I first setup the networking, I could see "IP/App Control" and it warned me about the more power usage. However, I don't recall seeing the option to enter a pre-shared key! Worst case scenario, I'll just plug a Roku stick, it's been rock solid for me with Roku and C4 driver. I just want to make sure I'm not missing a step somewhere Thanks guys!
  5. Thanks guys, I'm a dealer! I have done a number of Sony TV's with IP integration, almost all of them are XBR. Just this particular one client bought the TV already. When I'm in Composer, I see IR the only option under Communication. There's no way to enter the IP address of the TV, and under Network Connection, the TV is not listed that I can assign a network device to it.
  6. Trying to find out if I can do IP control of this Sony TV, it's their lower end Google TV. From C4 driver, I can see it's IP control, but the only option for communication is IR! Does it mean it can only do IR? I was hoping to have Netflix, YouTube, etc. mapped to the remote. Just wanted to confirm if this is the case, thanks for your help.
  7. For some reason, my Wyze Pan original camera with custom firmware that I was using for quite a while, it was working with Chowmain driver for PTZ control. Few months ago I replaced it with a TP-Link Tapo PTZ camera with better night vision, I got that working through Blue Iris. About 2 weeks ago, the Tapo camera disconnected from Blue Iris driver, but Blue Iris works as I can use a web browser to get to the camera just fine. We're in a condo and the PTZ camera is programmed so that when we're away it will automatically turn around to the open area. As soon as we're home it will turn itself pointing at the wall! If there are any other suggestions I'm open too. There's a CAT6 cable that I can hard wired the camera, but I'm trying to have something fairly compact. Appreciate any suggestions, thanks.
  8. I have a few Fire TV sticks that I'd like to integrate with C4 SR260 remotes, the default C4 driver is very slow to respond. With this IRUSB driver, do I need to purchase the IRUSB dongle and plug it into the Fire TV stick? There's no USB port available for the IRUSB dongle to plug in, except the Fire TV cube. Just wanted to confirm before I go out and get the IRUSB dongle, thanks for your help.
  9. I have Blue Iris setup and working for quite some time, all of a sudden not sure if it's because of Blue Iris software update or something else, my EA5 controller can't connect to the camera anymore. I'm getting the following in LUA after I initialize: 08/22/23 09:48:05 : Logged into Blue Iris OK 08/22/23 09:48:05 : Select camera from list 08/22/23 09:48:10 : No response, check all credentials I can use a web browser and go to the IP of Blue Iris server with port 81, I can see the camera and control all. Any suggestions? The driver that I'm using is from Perspective Software which I believe it's straight from Blue Iris? I tried other drivers in the past but this is the only one that will give me PTZ control in C4 with WiFi cameras!
  10. I thought the Emtek locks or at least some that can be upgraded to work with C4 by inserting the Zigbee module in the lock? I can't find from Emtek if it's possible. Here's one of the example that I'd like to integrate with C4: EMTouch™ Keypad Leverset | Emtek Much appreciate any information, thanks.
  11. Not direct access, with IP driver we can use the mini driver for Netflix. On the remote/app, you'll see an icon for Netflix, Prime, pressing it will go straight to the app, rather than navigating through with the arrow buttons with IR driver.
  12. IR works good too, just if you want to have direct access to Netflix, Prime Video, etc., would be nice to have IP control.
  13. It's the same IP address, in Composer it showed "Paired", online and Drive Status is good. When I go to a Pico in Composer, under Action, I press "Map Button Numbers" I get the following in LUA: LUA_ERROR: driver.lua.encrypted:3246: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (value expected) Actually in Programming when I go to a Pico, it doesn't have a drop down to let me select like Button 1 pressed, nothing just blank.
  14. I have been using this Android driver and it's been great with VIP7802: Platforms :: Control4 Drivers :: Audio/Video :: Android TV (drivercentral.io) One small issue is the REC button doesn't work, I checked with developer and there's no way to enable it! It's for our own system so it hasn't bothered us too much but would love to know if anyone found a way to fix it.
  15. I have a few Caseta Pico remotes stop working all of a sudden. I believe it stops after the recent driver upgrade! I only have Picos so I'm not sure how to test connectivity in Lutron app. I'm using driver LEAP RA2 Caseta Processor version 8. Appreciate any help I can get, thanks.
  16. Wanted to find out if this Lorex LNZ44P12B PTZ camera will work through C4 app? I won't need to have the ability to pan/tilt, but live view would be great. I see a 3rd party driver from here: Control4 Driver - Dahua/Lorex Camera & NVR (automatednow.com) Not much about Lorex so not sure if it'll be compatible or not, much appreciate any information.
  17. Yes, it's your Reolink driver, the PTZ camera is WiFi but it needs to be plugged in for power. Hoping your driver will work.
  18. I've been using a Tapo PTZ WiFi camera for indoor, along with Blue Iris for C4 integration with PTZ. Now I found this Reolink driver, does it work with all Reolink cameras, I'm very interested in getting Reolink E1 Zoom or E1 Pro, which they look very similar to the Tapo! Much appreciate your help,
  19. I found a Yamaha IP driver that works with RXV series in particular RX-V567. Works well except I can't register the driver and the trial runs out (no longer supported)! Any known IP based Yamaha drivers that would work with their RXV series? Much appreciate your help on this.
  20. Thanks Chris for looking into this, yes it seems to be only affecting the iOS, Android app seems to work just fine.
  21. No problem, this seems to affect on iPad more so than with Android based tablets. At least at my parents house the iPad has a delay of 10-15 mins, a 2nd Fire HD tablet they have would be almost in real time.
  22. Similar situation only delay with iPad? I think it starts with the newest C4 app update as now I can see a PTZ symbol and history icon on the live feed app.
  23. With the recent iPad and C4 updates, I found my iPad which has the outdoor camera live feed is delayed over time. If I leave the app running on the iPad, over few hours I can see the OSD camera time on the C4 app showing about 15 mins behind. I get no drop out just the time is behind! The same feed on T3 and T4 screens seem to be okay, it works even with an Amazon Fire Tablet, just not behaving with the iPad. Anyone experience similar issues? Much appreciate your help.
