  1. have you tried connecting through ovrc? i think you just have to enter the port at the end of the ip address
  2. I'm in the same boat, have a few installs coming up with Sky stream, I'm not expecting anyone to come out with a new driver anytime soon though, the best we can hope for is one of the UK based driver creators has a go but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't even a public APi available for it yet. will have to make an IR driver for it for the time being
  3. I had this issue with a couple of smart plugs, ended up having to make a dedicated 2.4g only SSID for them to connect to
  4. Ruckus here also and getting around 2 days battery life and zero connection issues
  5. You could get one of the new Episode Lynk boxes, it will add airplay 2 to your system so you can add it to the home app on your phone and use siri to control the music
  6. depending on the size of your load you can use the control4 square single or dual load adaptive dimmer or switch without a neutral
  7. Are you sure you’re using the TuneIn driver? I’m not hearing these messages, I listen to 6music most of the time. if you are using TuneIn driver check it’s up to date.
  8. You can still listen to BBC stations using the Tunein driver, Control4 is not on the list of affected devices
  9. I've seem similar things before, get your dealer to go into account services in composer pro and unregister the controller, then re-register it to your account. He'll also then see if the controller is able to check in or not.
  10. Hi Gary, can I ask how you're finding the lock to use? I'm currently trying to choose between the Nuki and the slim series from Simpled
  11. If you can make the DS2 make a noise when the gate is released won't the person who pressed the button on the touchscreen hear that noise through the call? then they would know the gate had been released
  12. Another option could be to use a Triad one, you would need to still use a little pre amp or get a turntable with one built in but you could plug it in to the triad one and you would have a local amp that played through whatever speakers he wants to use with it plus it could be used as part of the whole home audio system.
  13. There is also a post on the tech community pages about this issue at the moment with a few people with the same issue, not sure where they are located though, its definitely a known issue but tech support don't know whats causing it yet. doing investigation with tech yesterday and we discovered the touchscreens I have wont boot up on an Araknis switch or a cisco switch, I was asked to try poe injector the only one i had with me did poe and poe+ and still none of the screens worked. Tech told me that all the units they have received back with this issue would work when plugged into a pakedge SX switch or a "dumb" poe injector so I should try that. I took them home and tried them on a really cheap 48V POE injector and all three worked straight away. it seems to be an issue with the poe negotiation between the midboxes and certain brands of switches/poe injectors. I was told to keep hold of my faulty units for the moment while they figure out where exactly the issue is and what the fix will be, fingers crossed that doesn't take too long.
  14. I think Roku, nvidia shield and Fire TV are probably the most popular, not sure if any of them are available in your region though. Chowmain do a driver that works with a lot of android tv boxes but I have no experience with it
  15. Appreciate you trying to help but that was the first thing I thought to check. You forgot to mention the 48 port model which has overall budget of 375W. On OVRC it say the switch is using 23% of POE power.
  16. can I ask where your located? hopefully this is just an issue with one dodgy batch sent to the UK
  17. I'm having the same issue, have a project that is using an araknis 210 switch which supposedly has full poe on all ports. Project has around 10 original T4s that have been installed and working for over a year. received 4 new screens last week for the same project and none of them powered up first time, I eventually got two working but could not get the other two working, RMA'd two and the tech said they had received quite a few reports of similar issues. While waiting for the replacements one of the new ones that I managed to get working failed and when I received the two replacements they had the same issue so I'm about to RMA another three, I think its an issue with midbox because the new screens all work fine on the old midboxes but the old screens and the new screens don't work on the new midboxes.
  18. Hi Alan, Does this driver work with TP links Tapo range of smart plugs and bulbs?
  19. BBC radio stations work through tunein when using Control4 now, they do in the UK anyway
  20. This can be tricky if the manufacturer hasn't made discrete input select commands. You could try googling for the IR codes for your model of TV, if you find a list see if there is any commands for HDMI1 and HDMI2, if there is you can copy and paste them in to the driver wizard and see if the work. If you can't find the IR codes you'll have to create a macro within the driver to change inputs. When you start creating a driver, near the start of the wizard on the driver properties page it will give you an option to select "discrete input selection" tick this box if you can find the IR codes for the inputs you want, if you can't find them leave that box unchecked and you'll have to configure the macro to change inputs later on in the wizard.
  21. Show a screenshot of the programming being done when the portal is selected
  22. It’s been rock solid since I installed it, no lag in commands and because it IR it’s extremely reliable. I would also recommend getting a usb hub with Ethernet, and plugging that in to the OTG cable then plug the flirc into the usb hub, you can then hardwire your fire stick with Ethernet, and you have spare USB ports on the hub for things portable hard drives if you have content stores that you want to watch through the fire stick
  23. No need for a zone director if all the APs are unleashed
  24. What’s the model of the processor you’re using? I would have thought you’ve got the right one if it was in discovered but you never know. check the dimmer drivers have HomeWorksQS in the name check username and password, you may need to set up a different one that the default
  25. Do you have to add drivers for the dimmers as well as the processor?
