  1. Does anyone have any idea when all these will integrate with C4? Do they even have plans to talk to each other? Thanks
  2. We are happy to announce open beta testing for version 2 of our popular Wink Driver Pack. This version is a major overhaul with greatly expanded device support and will be a free update to everyone who currently owns the driver. Features Ring Doorbell button press detection Ring Doorbell motion detection Arlo, ArloQ, Nest Cam and Ring stick up cam motion detection Blind support Door lock support MyQ and other Wink garage doors Dimmers and binary light switch drivers supporting Z-wave, ZigBee, Philips Hue, Lutron and others Sensors including leak detectors, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, motion sensors and others Read access to any device in your account through a new generic Wink device driver Greatly simplified driver structure and easier installation with drop down lists of device names How do I get it? The open beta can be activated by having your dealer install the driver files linked to below and activating with the key “BETA”. Download How can I help? We are interested in any feedback you have. We are especially interested in hearing from users with blinds and door locks. What happened to the old drivers? The older drivers for different devices such as spotter, refuel, garage doors, etc. are discontinued in favor of a simpler driver structure. Now all these devices can be represented with a single generic Wink device driver. This driver will automatically configure itself upon linking with your account and setup all the appropriate variables, relays and contacts. This allows us to support many more devices and reduces the number of drivers that have to be maintained. We still have the binary switch and dimmer drivers in order to provide the appropriate UI experience in navigator. Your other devices can also be displayed in navigator by linking relays and contacts to the appropriate control4 generic device drivers. Details are provided in the documentation. Limitations and requirements This driver requires OS 2.9 or later Video on cameras and doorbells is not supported Wink is in the process of updating their integration with Rachio. We will try to add support for sprinklers when this is completed. We have not yet implemented a thermostat specific driver. It’s the next thing on the roadmap for this driver.

    Wifi Cameras

I know, or I believe, none of these inexpensive cameras integrate into C4 which isn't a big deal as we have no touchscreen and only one tv. Curius what folks are using and your experience. Looking at the likes of nest, Samsung, alto, Logitech, etc. really wish one of them also made a doorbell so I wouldn't need two apps

Nest, Hive or Tado with C4

Hi guys, Based in UK. I have a HC1000, HC300 and SR250 from eBay! I want to build a system with full heating and hot water contol, I have 1 zone for the whole house with radiator's in each room. My thoughts are on a thermostat and linked radiator stats, but I can not see these with either Nest or Hive, yet Tado does not seem to connect with C4. Also looking for lighting control on a budget and without rewiring much. Would Lightwave RF do? Even though it doesn't feed back? Or is there other options, please remember I am in the UK with British shaped light switches! Many thanks for your input! Cheers Andy
  5. Hey Guys, Would really like to see native integration with Nest Cam streams for security, other than using blue iris as a workaround!
  6. Need to change a plain-jane Trane thermostat on my second floor to something smarter. On my first floor I have a Trane Comfotlink II that I have been using thru the Nexia app. Today I found out it has an available driver from Houselogix (for $200, OUCH ) I will try it for 48 hours and decide if its worth the $200. The new one needs to have scheduling and it will be good if has remote access. I know for the Ecobee I needs to buy an additional driver. Anybody has the price of the TheDriversLab driver for the ecobee? The Nest and the C4 already have a driver on the database. Also that the Nest driver has some limitations. I have 2 older C4 thermostats that have not been able to put to work with my system. Is the new C4 thermostat better than the others? What's its price?? What would you do??
  7. Hey folks, I have C4 and 2 NEST thermostats in my house. I think they were setup at one time, but now they show 120 degrees each in C4 (but the Nests work perfectly on their own, via the Nest website and using them by hand). Any idea how I can re-integrate? Perhaps C4 is just no longer connected to the Nest units or something? Thanks in advance!!
  8. Does Control4 works with: Kevo by Kwikst; Nest Thermostat, Nest Protect, Dropcam, Ring Doorbell?

    Nest Integration?

So it appears that Nest integration has been in progress for some time according to this article: http://www.builderonline.com/green-products/nest-launches-smoke-and-carbon-monoxide-detector-open-apis.aspx Can we expect integration of the Thermostats and Smoke Detectors soon? If not, why not?
