The cradle for the 10.4" mobile unit does not look professional. It should look sleeker.

The backbox for the MTS is terrible when used for retrofit. The dog ears flap around for a retrofit and there is no lip on the front requiring a precision cut and trim.

We have used the ears from the Carlon products on the C4 plastic boxes.

They are the same exact shape but a slightly softer plastic and don't break during install like the C4 versions.

Cheapest Way to get product is AVAD or Menards

Carlon part # is SC100RR Kist price is $1.10 each

These are harded to install than MP1P. I just use them to fix the C4 boxes

I personally think the cradle or the 10.4 is fine. I understand what you mean by a sleeker look though. That is slow low on my wish list however that before you mentioned it I didn't even think about it. I would definitely go with a more useful touch panel to make it work the $2K plus price tag.

Plus I'd rather have the in-wall docking station that was on original design plan but got scratched, before a redesign of the desktop cradle.
