prabeau
Where can I learn more about this type of programming the info in the Composer user guide is rather thin and makes a few assumptions .ThanksP
CFUG
The MACRO AGENT only allows user to create a single object in which to assign multiple tasks to and that is done in Programming. Assumptions? I don't follow- it's entirely up to you how to use the agent once it is created. Yes, you still need to follow Composer basics... Cyknight
Nice thing about Macro's is easy changes to multiple buttons at once (trigger the macro vs all the lines of programming) and the ability to trigger them directly from t-screens.Beyond that Macro programming is no different then other programming. I programmed the exact thing and when you execute as expected goes ON then goes OFF ( a flash) what is the usefulness ? puzzled !
sonic30101
the macro is whatever commands you put into the window in order top to bottom. the pic is just an example, and not particularly for any purpose.

Matt Lowe
macro programming is good for setting the same programming to multiple buttons or long chains of programming and having one location to edit them all rather than chasing them down through your entire project trying to find where you put that one line of programming.
