drmark12pa Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I have been updating some MP3 tags in my media library and noticed that when they are updated and a rescan is performed, they are removed from a PLAYLIST. Is that normally how that works? I just wanted to know for future reference so I know to add those same files back into the PLAYLIST they were in. Cyknight Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Yes - the tag has changed, so the system now sees the old 'tags' as removed and clears them from the playlist - it unfortunately doesn't seem to update the playlist when the tag is changed. However, when I reloaded my old playlists, there were a bunch of songs completely not related to the playlists. I have since recreated the playlists but I'm not sure why they appeared corrupted and have since experimented with importing them again and they now seem to be fine.
