I suspect you all have seen these in training. But I found these diagrams very useful:

* Wireless Distributed Audio - http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0004-04.htm'>http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0004-04.htm

* Wired Distributed Audio - http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0005-04.htm'>http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0005-04.htm

* Wireless Zigbee Lighting - http://www.control4.com/documents/techn … 06-04.htm.

This diagram shows Mini Touch Panel acting as a controller. Currently, Mini Touch Panel does not include controller functionality, and one of the standard controllers (Media Controller, HomeTheater Controller, Receiver Controller) is required.

* Wired Ethernet Lighting - http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0007-04.htm

* Home Theater (C4 Receiver) - http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0008-04.htm (of course the receiver is no longer a planned product, but you get the idea)

* Home Theater using your receiver - http://www.control4.com/documents/techn … 09-04.htm. This scenario would also work if you have the Media Controller.

* High Voltage Relay - http://www.control4.com/documents/technotes/0012-05.htm

Cheers,

Max

No - you're both wrong... an Audio Point was actually a device that was a basically a SpeakerPoint without the Amp, but with more inputs and it had digital outputs as well as RCA / stereo. It never came to production though (as I'm sure you already know). :)

Wingzz - no the Ethernet port is just for communication with the system (ie: changing the channel, firmware updates etc...). If you get the XM Tuner - it'll also provide 2-way communication (ie: artist / song title). That's it.

Got it Thanks

Another question, if I plug both rca outs (from the tuner) into the 2 MC rca in's will I be able to send the audio to the speakerpoints I have or do I still need to run it through my amp??

That's what I was trying to say. You can plug both rca outs into the 2 MC rca in's and you will be able to send the audio to the speakerpoints and select two different channels at once.

It would be greatly appreciated. I am in the designing phase of a new home and was thinking about incorporating C4 in my house while the house is all studs and wiring is being pulled.
