That is all I seem to have on my remote. So then when it goes to fire an on code, which is a precaution as you mention above, if they are already on then it turns off. Here is a picture of my remote and controller. The unfortunate thing is that without discrete codes your device will always go out of sync. My recommendation is to change the controller for one that does have discrete on and off. Should cost you about $5usd eg http://www.banggood.com/DC-12-24V-2A4-Channel-40Key-RGBW-Led-IR-Remote-Controller-Dimmer-For-RGBW-Strip-Lights-p-1016889.html?rmmds=search
zaphod
Is it possible for you to post the on and off codes for your controller and I will try those as it is possible that my controller uses the same IR codes but doesn't have all the keys. The receivers look very similar. I am investigating other options. I like the Hue controller that I mentioned above as it is much more flexible and allows you to use the full gamut of Hue apps, and there are lots of those for fun things, like Holiday special effects. But that is $55/controller. The other option is to reverse engineer a controller similar to the IR one but which uses wifi.

zaphod
It looks like your On code works as a toggle for me but your Off code doesn't work at all. Your red code also works for me, but so does my red code which is somewhat different. Here is one other strange thing that I have just realized. When you search Amazon.com for these controllers it looks like all of the controllers that come with 24 key remotes have discrete On and Off codes. But the controllers that come with 44 key remotes only have power toggles. But your controller is a 40 key remote with discrete on and off - but it is for RGBW rather than just RGB. In my experience RGB strips are much more popular than RGBW strips. You might want to mention this is you ever update the docs. The way that my driver is set up is that I have four instances of the driver installed. One is called Grouped, and then one for each of Red, Green and Blue. Is that correct? If so what I might do is actually remove the On/Off IR codes from the colour instances so that they only send the colour code. And I may have my dealer add additional driver instances for other colours, at least for White.
alanchow
no thats not how it works. there is a property in the driver called 'Colour Drivers in Group'. use that to select all the colours in the group.
luminenterprises@gmail.com
Attached is an Excel sheet with all the IR codes for the banggood device. Hope this says everyone some time. LED IR Controller, Banggood.xlsx
luminenterprises@gmail.com
@alanchow I am attempting to use your driver with a Z2IO. Its not emitting LED IR codes. I've bench tested that the Z2IO will send IR (TV codes) and it works fine. I have tested that the IR codes are correct with a HC-250. Any suggestions or fixes??? I need a wireless control RGBW LED lighting.

I need a wireless control RGBW LED lighting. Not all IR codes work on all devices. I would test the IR code out first using Control4's driver wizard to see if that works (this eliminates our driver being the cause). If it works then please submit a ticket to our helpdesk and we will troubleshoot.
luminenterprises@gmail.com
IR code works fine when I create a Driver. Works fine via IR outs on HC-250 and the Z2IO. For reference I am using the IR codes in the Excel sheet I uploaded in this thread on 12/8/2016. Your driver has worked GREAT and I have never had an issue until now. Ticket already submitted a few days ago via DriverCentral.

I'm a bit behind on my work (600 emails and about 30 tickets were waiting for me after CEDIA Expo). Just make sure that you have included logs capturing the problem in the ticket so one of us can look into it.
