Writing driver for IP-Camera through DriverEditor

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm writing the driver for IP camera (Samsung SNO-6084R) and have some problems with "camera" proxy. After creation of driver using template (camera_proxy_template.c4i), I wanted to test it with Composer Pro 2.5.0, but it did not work.

The file "camera.c4d.dll" was not existed in "...\Control4\Composer250\Drivers\Control" directory.

I was tryed to copy this file from ComposerHE to ComposerPro and it had some results - it was showed the properties control interface in the driver setting page, but Composer Pro all the same don't see this proxy.

How can I fix this problem? Please, help me - it's too important for me...

Thanks.

Camera Proxy was added *after* 2.5.0, so a 2.5.0 version of Composer will not have that proxy available, nor will a controller running 2.5.0.

Driver Editor's version is not tied to a specific Control4 OS version, you can make drivers for a version you don't have installed, but you can't test it or install a driver unless your system is up to the required version.
