Arjay12345
Hi.. me again..I've decided to add more cabling and sensors for further automation and wanted to know the types I should install:1) Am thinking of adding motion sensors to all rooms to control lighting. Any guidance of the type of sensor and how many core wires I should pull through?2) Want to add some strategically placed light/lux sensors, again to control lighting3) Any need for a rain/water sensor?I can't think of any need for a sound sensor anywhere in the house. Was originally think of some pressure pad sensors under the carpet but the motion sensors should cover this. Heat is covered by the various thermostats already installed.Any others I should consider? Also, be great if anyone can recommend any particular model of any of the sensors - many to choose from out there. Note I live in the UK so needs to be compatible/available here..Thanks as always..
Gary Leeds UK
We use Axxess industries Motion Sensors. They give you the temperature in the room they are placed, run on batteries so no need to hard wire. Can be fully programmed for turning lights on/off and can be programmed for turning TV/music etc on and off.We have a 4 Bedroom house and 4 Sensors control all the lighting - Could do with a extra 1 to be honest. They use a 3.6 Volt AA battery's - pretty rare in the UK
