alanchow Posted September 28, 2014 Share Posted September 28, 2014 3rd party zigbee device integration into C4 isn't as easy as what you think it is. 3rd party devices need to have an additional cluster (named 'Large Network Support' by C4) added to their Zigbee stack on top of the Zigbee Pro HA that they already have to cater for Control4 specific functionality like identify packets and announce packets (kind of like a ping). Without large network support you should be able to join the mesh but you will need to enter in the node ID manually into the identify window. Also online/offline information about the device will be incorrect and reliable sending/receiving of zigbee packets from/to director will be unreliable.
