Mark LaBelle
Running 2.6 and we installed the HUE bridge and some lights, but I can't seem to get the C4 app to work. We installed a Single Lamp Full Color driver, but when I open the C4 app it just says "Select the Light Bulb/s that you'd like to control", but the page is blank and nothing shows up. The light "Hue Test" shows up in the lighting section and works, but nothing shows up in the C4 app. Is it an outdated app, is running 2.6 an issue? Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks,Mark
Cyknight
Did you install the bridge driver, connect the light to.it and set the address?
Mark LaBelle
Sure did - the lights work through C4, just not the C4 app.
Cyknight
Mhh, just did one yesterday, not done so I haven't tried the app as such yet - I'll see what I can find out.
Cyknight
Here's a thought - what driver are you using? The App is for the thedriverlab's driver, not the (now free) EV one.
Gary Leeds UK
We have 5 Phillip Hue Lights, we used the Extra Veg Driver - There are a few - we used the V2 one, this gives you one dimmer switch on your GUI like a C4 light - Plus the Bridge driver. Then added custom buttons for Ramdon Colours Start/ Stop, blues, greens, reds. Works really well one tip if you programme Ramdon Colours On, you need to programme Ramdon Colours stop before turning the Bulb off.
Cyknight
Secondary option there is to add the full light driver as well (you need the on/off regardless) and put in a hidden room, than program lighting sceens for colors, unhide from nav in room you want them in - doesn't take up custom buttons this way. Mark LaBelle
Well that's it... I have the EV Driver. :-) No wonder. Thanks! Mark
