geezer Posted July 5, 2015 Share Posted July 5, 2015 I have a small system that I maintain remotely for a customer over a VPN. The customer has been reporting some issues with the iPad app not connecting to the director. Ive SSH'd into the HC-800 which should be running director. running 'sys man status' indeed confirms that the director is not running. but using any of the options to restart it I'm still not getting it back up: for e.g. killall director runs but no result sys man director enable - returns an error Equally it comes up the same after reboot. I've checked the other two controllers and they are not running director. System is: HC-800HC-250HC-250 2 x SR-2501 x Ipad app version is 2.5.3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
geezer Posted July 6, 2015 Author Share Posted July 6, 2015 I used system manager to connect to the box over IP and this restarted director. Not sure why it stopped. It would be great to find out why from logs if this was possible. And would be great to find an official document with SSH commands for the control4 busy box?
