outmotoring
I have 4 HVAC zones in my house and all of the thermostats (RTH8580WF) are in a rackroom. We tyipcally control them all with the Honeywell app but would like to integrate them with C4 if possible and economical. Is there a solution out there that allows us to control or sync control4 (I have a HC800 on 2.9) with this model number thermostat (4 of them?). I would love to be able to use the 'comfort' icon on the c4 app and navigator to control these if possible. outmotoring
I just found this houselogix driver that costs $200- but not sure if this can be used for all 4 or if I need to buy 4 copies of the 'driver' in order for it to control all 4 thermostats and will the C4 interface show these 4 zones correctly? https://www.houselogix.com/shop/honeywell-wifi-thermostat-driver-license
Cyknight
Licensing is always per project, not per device, so yes one license would cover all 4 devices.
Terry Gore
Looks like that driver is gone now too.... I can't find a Honeywell thermostat driver anywhere.
outmotoring
Whoa- that's strange. I wonder if it got upgraded? I found this module that MAY be a 'upgrade' of sorts? http://www.houselogix.com/shop/master-thermostat-control4-driver-license
therockhr
So did they get rid of this driver or what?
outmotoring
Well, it's not on their site any longer but I can't tell if the other driver supersedes it or if they discontinued it all together. I left a message with their tech support a few minutes ago- apparently they are owned by SnapAV. I was not aware-
outmotoring
The info on this thread is likely what has caused them to remove this driver:
therockhr
The driver was a tough sell since it cost twice as much as the actual thermostat it controlled.

Cyknight
But that was made by Crestron - for Crestron. Anyway, no idea why it was removed, but we recently did one aprilaire setup and we're struggling with it - wonder if whatever is causing the issues is the reason it was removed. As this affects us directly I'm trying to find out more info ASAP, should I learn anything, I'll post it.
therockhr
So is there not any Control4 drivers out there for the Honeywell Wifi and Lyric thermostats?
