cdepaola
@msgreenf can you compare Alan's the Drivers Lab? I have DL's and just curious how Alan's might be better.

Dls always stopped working and I had to reset and reconfigure. Never had to for over a year with Alan's Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
alanchow
Thanks guys. i don't like comparing our products to other people's as I think that is a pretty rude thing to do to other developers. happy to tell you what ours does though. our wemo driver provides instant control and instant feedback over wemo switch ( even when controlled by another app). Wemo insight switch devices also provide instant power feedback as well. power feedback can be used for providing auto room on and auto room off non controllable AV devices (PlayStation 4, Wii U, etc). the driver can be set up to show as any motorised device or as a light switch. if the wemo changes ip addresses or port numbers (it will) then our driver is smart enough to self heal and find the new address and port for the device. hope this helps. adam333
whats the difference between wiwo, and wimo?
alanchow
Wemo is a product made by Belkin which provides really good control / feedback. Wiwo is a cheap product made by a chinese manufacturer called Orvibo which works but doesn't provide as much functionality. Out of the two i personally would pick the Wemo\ though having said that the Wiwo is half the price so that is a big selling point to people who are budget conscious.
