Stuart England
All of a sudden.. 2 days ago, when I turn off my kitchen pendent they go to off then 1 second later they come back on again at extremely low output c4 still thinks they are off and the puks report zero usage but they are still on albeit very very low afaik nothing has changed in the system
Matt Lowe
if these are led bulbs they may not be enough wattage. try higher wattage leds
Stuart England
I had them working for 2 weeks before hand without this, then suddenly it started? They are LED dimmable bulbs should I not be concerned about the energy use here?
Matt Lowe
If this is a newer generation dimmer. You can try pressing the top button 9 times. Bottom 4 times then the 9 times. If no change i will still try higher wattage led. 6watt vs 10 watt won't break the bill
Stuart England
its a wireless PUK
NextGenAV
Did the light switch originally feed more that one light? If you switch off all the lights in the room are they still dim? Is there a neutral feed to the PUK? Minimum load on the 240V PUK is 10W and LEDs are not recommended on non neutral connections.
Stuart England
the puk has only ever fed these two pendent lights they remain on (dimmed) when all other lights are off not sure about the neutral, I will have to ask the spark each LED is 6W and there are two (one in each pendent)
turls
So did you ever reset the dimmer? I've had issues with screwed up maximums that a reset fixed. I think the same could happen with minimums. Not sure about pucks though
Stuart England
not sure how to reset a PUK so I still have the issue.. ill have to dig up the documentation when I get a minute
Gary Leeds UK
Stuart, we have had this issue with the wireless puck dimmers. Easy fix was to change light bulbs !!!!

vitali
check your wiring, might be problem with neutral. or you got faulty dimmer, it happens.
Stuart England
putting in a halogen rather then LED and the problem went away doesn't explain why it worked just fine for a few weeks and then suddenly started doing this though.. weird
NextGenAV
I've seen it happen a few times ... you think you got away with being close to minimum load and then a few days / weeks later the LEDs won't dim all the way down. The load the LEDs provide probably reduces when they have been 'run in'. I would check with your electrician to see if there is a neutral connection to the PUK.
