MarkM Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 Running version 2.9.0.528365-res of Control4 for PC-Mac on Windows 10 notebook. Program was working ok for many months but now program starts and steps through the "connecting to director" screen then stays on the next page with the C4 logo and " Connecting. Press and hold for configuration." screen. I have tried starting with firewall off and have the same results. I also uninstalled and reinstalled version 2.9.0.528365-res of Control4 for PC-Mac, same results. Finally I uninstalled and reinstalled version 2.8.xxx of Control4 for PC-Mac, same results. I tried your suggestion and uninstalled/reinstalled Adobe Air, but still no success. MarkM Posted January 19, 2017 Author Share Posted January 19, 2017 Thank you for your suggestion. I deleted the C:\Users\ \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR\ELS\MyHomePC folder. This has corrected some of the problem but not all. MyHome is still stuck on the "Connecting. Press and hold for configuration." screen, but now I can access the configuration screen. When I click on "Director" in the configuration I can then click on the controller then I click "Connect". Then MyHomePC works correctly, but when MyHomePC is closed and reopened I must go through the configuration process again or it will stay on the "Connecting. lukas.polivka Posted June 16, 2019 Share Posted June 16, 2019 Wrt the 2.9 project: SSL cert patch needs to be applied? I'd suggest using Bluestacks and installing the Control4 OS 2 Android app instead anyway. The Flash/Air app was already pretty broken/outdated by the time 2.9 was released.
