New Programming features for 2.9?

I just upgraded to 2.9 -- is there new programming features, or fixes that went into the 2.9 version?   I have already noticed some usability improvements when programming, but is there other features that were added -- as it is hard to find these.  

Yes, I know there is new interactions with Alexa, or other devices -- but anything else?

You were not very specific on what you upgraded from. 

Yes MANY new features/drivers that I'm not going to type out. I would read the release notes for 2.6,2.8,and 2.9 to familiarize yourself.

I guess maybe to ask, is there something you are "looking" to try to do? Dont let your Controller become a Science Project and do things for the sake of it. I could clarify and let you know if something is there in the latest releases.
