JakeCowan
Hi guys, Noob account manager/installer here working on my first system in a model home for a development with 140 homes where I will have the opportunity to sell to each of them. Currently trying to wrap my head around how to integrate the heated floors in the bathroom into the system. One room, just the bathroom, stat is a 'SunStat Command' that has compatibility with 'Home Automation' per the user manual. I'm no electrician, just a low voltage guy, so this stuff get's confusing to me. The stat has 6 connections, 1-6, Away 6 Com (A) 5 RELAY(B) 4 3 SENSOR 2 SENSOR 1 User manual says home automation is to be used on 5,6. I've been skimming the forums but am still having a hard time understanding how this works. I see people referencing "putting control 4 in front of the system". What are my options here? Dumb it down for me. Thanks!
THEORY
Call Nuheat you should be able to swap the T-Stat http://www.nuheat.com/products/thermostats/control4-driver
THEORY
I wouldn't really call what the SunStat Command has as any real home automation tie in. It's just a relay that when you close it put the Stat in away mode. Nothing special about it, no real control of the heating.
