ffosgate
Hi I am curious if the Kwikset 910 ZigBee version will work with my control4 system or does it have to be the control4 version? Seems very taxing since ZigBee is a standard that things should be able to work with it. And I am not talking Zwave vs. ZigBee I know those are different. Any thoughts? Or does anyone know ways around or how to make ZigBee products work on the C4 systems with out having to always by C4 gear at super high prices with little choice options? msgreenf
It has to be the control4 model. The regular zigbee and Control4 zigbee are not the same Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
alanchow
Control4's zigbee stack has additional clusters which are non standard. You cannot just utilise any normal zigbee products with Control4 without modifying the device's zigbee firmware.
istreich
Is it the same with Z-wave? Is there a way to make a generic Z-wave device work with Control4? I think I remember reading that using a Wink hub was a workaround. Is that right?
