Video Sensing

Has anyone come across hardware with drivers that allows for video sensing? I know the HC300 did it but thats not much help to me right now. The sort of thing im after is what I used to use with Nevo controls, which is basically a video RCA Phono lead which plugs in and triggers on the event of video loss. (To allow me to program a delayed power on command)

A Humax YouView box has to be left on 24/7 and I want to try and automatically bring it online should they have a power cut or something (Without the use of a UPS)

I have hacked up one of these audio sensors along with a 5v power supply. So a video one would probably work too
