CEO
Has anyone tried any of these HDMI matrix being sold on eBay by techmarketplace? Looks like they claim a home grown cresttron driver and also state C4 compatibility with RS232 connectivity. https://www.ebay.com/itm/291703382031 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I remember his dealer had to modify the driver to dial it in tho.
Cyknight
? Unbranded HDCP compatible device huh. Wonder what the HDMI alliance things of that. Use of Crestron C4 and other branding - I'm sure there's consent to that. To each their own, but myself, I'd stay away - both personally and as a dealer. My 8x8 is toast after only 2.5 years. What would you recommend as a replacement without coming out of pocket with so much cash. mallom
Is 4k important to you? If not, I usually recommend Aneuvideo 8x8 because they are basically a Shinybow unit. There are IP and serial drivers for Control4. I have absolutely ZERO issues with mine. It just works. https://www.amazon.com/MATRIX-ROUTING-SWITCH-BOOSTER-Preview/dp/B01AVI8PNE/ref=s9u_simh_gw_i1?_encoding=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pd_rd_i=B01AVI8PNE&pd_rd_r=0GC95GTCA7ZBWN3DVHZ0&pd_rd_w=okkB6&pd_rd_wg=spIBm&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=1ME3HMVW76CWG2V2AMCS&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=781f4767-b4d4-466b-8c26-2639359664eb&pf_rd_i=desktop

Do you currently have balun sets already, or is your current one integrated CAT distribution, or do you have straight HDMI? And as said, do you want 4K specifically as it tends to come a ta premium right now. 2 hours ago, CEO said: My 8x8 is toast after only 2.5 years. And it's out of Warranty? CEO
And it's out of Warranty? Yes - out of warranty. I have HD-base-T's to 3 rooms and HDMI to two rooms. No need for 4K Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheaper alternatives, with decent to good warranty and that have proven to work well are BinaRY 500/520 SERIES or look at Netplay.
