Can you open up a remote and attach/solder a C4 compatible relay to it? You would need the relay to complete the circuit that would trigger the RF signal - maybe on both sides of where the button press triggers the RF signal?

I have 2 remotes...so that's definitely an option, but seems a bit "rigged" to me.

Am I too optimistic to think that there is some device that would "learn" an RF signal, and can transpose it to IR that would work with C4?

Have you done something similar to this?

I am not aware how you can lean an RF signal and integrate into C4. I have used same technique to integrate my garage door opener (MyQ) - I switched back to my rigged opener after the Houselogix driver wouldn't keep up with the updates. You can always put the rigged remote in a nearby closet or attic so you can't see it - as long as there is an outlet to power the relay or you could always run a wire back to the controller to use the built in relay there.

So you are saying I could solder a wire from the remote to a relay, and that relay talk to the controller? Sounds like something I could do if I know what to solder to in the remote...and suggestions?

I would simply put the relay/remote right beside the controller...so power wouldn't be an issue.

Did I get that right?

I called Global Cache and they do not utilize RF at all, so there is no "ultimate product" that they sell that would accomplish what I'd like to do.

Are the devices that you are suggesting something that I would need to solder into the remote control?

yes, sorry for the confusion, these are the 3 choices you could use for a solder scenario into remote and kept in that room like you asked here:

Yes there is a product that works this way. Depends on the frequency of the RF of course. Here is the product. I can supply of course.

Vince set me up with a matterlink to control my wall air conditioner. Works great and I would recommend Vince to set you up.

Thanks VINCELdUB,

I have a call into Innova Sleep company to see if they can confirm that the remote's RF frequency is 315/433.

If it is, then I may give this a shot.

If this does end up being able to work, do you have any recommendations for User Control of an Adjustable Bed? C4 has no adjustable bed proxy's / UI's for this so I assume I would just use "Custom Buttons" unless you guys have a more elegant UI solution.

Thanks again
