VINCELdUB
There is a free driver from someone. I think it is on Houselogix website. It is a serial I/o matrix driver. Will post link. Happy Automating!
VINCELdUB
https://www.houselogix.com/shop/free-generic-serial-to-ethernet-driver-4-port Hope this helps. You bind the one port to it. And hen devices to it. Happy Automating!

Cinegration
You can only bind one serial device at a time. What are you trying to do? if you need to have many devices talk to one serial you will need to make a cloud driver and connect via bindings or another in bound function. Good luck! alanchow
Yep AJ is correct. You need to create a cloud driver which basically means one master driver has the rs232 connection and has multiple connections to the child drivers. the child drivers pass along information to/from the master driver. Control4 has a really good video on how to do it as part of their driver development training.

VINCELdUB
The driver I had sent you was the wrong one sorry. But this driver existed. I will reply shortly with correct location or I may have it in one of my older projects. Happy Automating!!

JackPan
Hi VINCELdUB, It's not about how to use a driver but a issue about how to develop a driver. anyway, thanks for you reply.

You are welcome. I understand now. I did not realize that you are trying to develop a driver to do this. For this part, it is over my head. However, the simple driver I did send works flawlessly for controlling up to for devices off of one serial connection as long as they all have the same baud rate. Good luck! And happy automating!
