Dave w Posted May 26, 2017 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Working with two EA3's on one system - same LAN. One is primary the other is secondary. Each has its own multi-zone amp (Mirage M400). Trying to play announcements to both, but they seem to only play on primary controller. The secondary will stop playing any active zones when announcement is triggered, but will not play announcement wav file itself. (Sometimes secondary will then not go back to playing anything after stopping zones that unless primary is rebooted). I've tried varying start delays and such. Nothing seems to get it to work. knowitall Posted May 27, 2017 Share Posted May 27, 2017 Had this issue when you could do announcements thru sonos How I fixed it: make a copy of the announcement file on Pc "file2" and make a new announcement in the program called "file2" and have the secindary controller play that one will be slightly out of sync but should work my best guess is there is an issues with multiple devices going after the same file at the same time.
