Advanced audio?

Can someone explain what exactly ADVANCED AUDIO is with the newer firmware versions of c4?  I'm still on 2.92 and considering replacing my last HC300 to be able to move up to 2.10.  What I'm wondering are the benefits of the ADVANCED AUDIO feature.....

Uhm, there is no 2.9.2...but Advanced Audio has been around since 2.6 - other than some fixes the 'advantages' are the same. It's a bit quicker, but more so it has 'HD audio' as in it allows for higher bitstream audio (assuming you have the right hardware etc)

Ooops... I meant 2.9.1... haha was thinking the 2nd update to 2.9....  but is there a noticeable difference in audio quality?  I typically use FLAC or MP3 (360) files for my audio on my network harddrives.  I use the Control4 amp to run the audio in my inwall speakers throughout the house but have a Sony receiver in the theater area.

All depends on the file quality, speakers and amp but generally speaking yes
