scottparrvb
I had a similar problem in the past. When trying to add a wav file in announcements I get the message below. It is even showing up on files that I have previously been able to add.

livitup
You have to re-enable SMB version 1, which was disabled in Windows 10 because it is old and generally considered insecure. Start -> Settings In the search box type "Windows Features" which should give you the option to click "Turn Windows Features on or off" About half way down the resulting box, you will see "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support". Check it. OK, Reboot, Start Composer, proceed on course.
scottparrvb
SMB check seems to have worked. Thank you
livitup
Glad it helped. You probably want to turn it back off when you’re done programming if you are using a laptop. Best not to have SMB 1.0 open when you’re out and about on public WiFi. If you’re only on your home network it’s probably safe to leave it turned on.
