pinkoos
Can't access TuneIn this morning. I have the local NPR button programmed on a touchscreen button and keypad button. When I press those this morning, the system is turned on as usual but the station doesn't play. I get a generic TuneIn screen on the touchscreen where it usually shows the actual station name. I tried accessing the station through listen-TuneIn, etc but no luck.
pinkoos
I think when this has happened before, my dealer at the time had to go in and either reset the driver or reinstall the driver or something like that. Does that sound right? Is this something I can do myself via HE? I've confirmed that TuneIn is working via other routes (ie, Sonos), so it seems like it's the C4 TuneIn driver that may be at fault. cfduran
Have you check with Deezer in order to know if the behavior is the same?? I have had this problem and after rebooting the controller the digital music works again. I got this problem after updating the HC250 from 2.9.1 to 2.10.0. With previous version I did not have this problem. Now I am going back to 2.9.1Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
Bullseye
Mine is also down since this morning. Any solution??
Cyknight
IF you are on 2.9.1 this may have to due with the Napster patch pushed out due to changes on Napster's side - you'll have to get your dealer involved to either update you or talk to tech support to clear the patch. If not - note that C4 is doing some upgrades at the moment so that may be related.
hank31980
I have the same issue. I'm running the new Napster Driver, but I think since this was installed, the Native Tune-in has now Broke. Whats needed a new Napster version again or reinstall Tune-In driver? Currently the System is running 2.9.1. If I were on 2.10 would this not be an issue? I guess for people on 2.8.2 or 2.9.0 or 2.9.1 it is something that needs a fix unfortunately.
pinkoos
I believe I'm on 2.9.1 but I don't have/use Napster as far as I know, so not sure why I'm affected if the Napster association is true.
pinkoos
And, I still have an HC-300 in use and, so, can't upgrade to 2.10.0 (at least that's what I've been told).
hank31980
That's correct, for you with a HC-300 in the system 2.9.1 is the limit. Everything was fine with my system until yesterday when this Napster update happened. Now on 2.10.0 & all is working again. I'm not sure if it has to be done a Dealer or whether someone at Control4 Tech support can add this fix remotely to your system or what? Not even sure what the actually software patch involves. Good luck with it.
pinkoos
Okay, that's a real bummer. Guess I'll need to get in touch with an integrator here and see what can be done.
Tokead
Just came back from being away. Tried Napster and got a message on Tate screen' clicked yes and works. TunedIn wasn't working before that and still doesn't. I'm on 2.91. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
hank31980
Its a pity that the update/patch cant be triggered from the Tune-in App on the Touchscreens etc. but it looks like its a dealer task to either fix it on 2.9.1or update you to 2.10.0. pinkoos
2.10.0 is not an option for me b/c of my HC-
Cyknight
You shouldn't be patched if you have no instance of the driver though.
pinkoos
I guess I'll have to check HE and see if it's hidden or something.

pinkoos
This is crazy. How often does something like this happen - a software "patch" breaks something else?
zaphod
Is there a fix available for 2.9.1? What is said earlier in the thread regarding this isn't clear.
Cyknight
IF you don't use Napster, but the patch somehow got installed it's possible to remove the patch, but it'll require your dealer plus C4 techsupport.
zaphod
Ok thanks. I have not used Napster, at least not since it went legit about a decade ago and never with C4.
zaphod
Any idea what this can be if you don't have Napster on your system. I am able to listen to TuneIn with my ID in a web browser. In the C4 driver I dropped and then joined successfully. I turned on debug and here is what I get: Navigator.GetQueue (5001, 8) for nav c4-BBCFBB2C-E943-46B2-AE97-BB0742AC6C52 Called GetQueue.
