RussellB
Hi all, I did search before wanting to post. :-) I have a Denon AV988 Receiver that takes about 10 seconds to come up and accept commands via RS232. When I select a different input (Blu-Ray instead of Cable) from when it was shut-off it doesn't switch when it starts up. It does switch after it's turned on. So my question is... how do I add a delay for it to wait until commands are sent? TIA, Russell

RussellB
The Denon was hooked up via RS232 and the timeout wasn't behaving so I switched to the IR driver and added a timeout and problem solved! Thanks.
Matt Lowe
could be the denon is failing or running slow. the power on delay is there to wait for the unit to receive input commands. it good long unplug might fix the issue.
