Anyone use Mi.Light? Less expensive Hue style

I'm looking into lighting choices that can adjust color temp for recessed lighting. I started with expensive solutions and working my way down while trying to balance automation capability.

I'm looking at Mi.Light bulbs. They have what look like recessed retrofit bulbs, but also have typical bulbs along with outdoor floods and landscaping lights. I like that they seem to offer RGB+CCT.

Since I do like the tech part I have also found an interesting open source project for a hub that can control more than the 4 groups their current hub product limits:

I'm curious if anyone has tried these and had any impressions on the quality compared to other solutions.
