Citra
I have a C4-AMP108 that had run fine for a number of years. It failed, all indicators went red and never seemed to work again. I called the local rep and he said it need to be replaced. Cost of a new one was crazy, but found one on ebay. Bought it and installed the new (used) amp and powered it up and worked great.... for about 10 min. then it to went to all red indicators. If I turned it off and on it work for about 5 min... turn off and on and work 2 min.... etc. So, do you think it something wrong with my system or I just got unlucky and got another bad AMP from ebay? sonic30101
Possibly a shorted speaker wire or blown speaker that caused the first amp to die. Also how many speakers are connected to each zone? Could be an impedance issue. I would disconnect the speaker wires and connect them 1 zone at a time to see if you can see an issue
Citra
Thank you for the prompt reply. I disconnected all speakers and the amp still turns red in about 2 min. So I am not sure if the damage was already done by a shorted speaker. There are 2 speakers attached to each zone.
