JerryR
We use Sonos tied into our controller to play such things as Sirius XM, Pandora, TuneIn, and most notably Apple Music playlists. I can trigger macros to play a SiriusXM channel without any issues. I can also have it trigger to play an Apple Music playlist. The issue is trying to get the playlist to shuffle when it starts so it doesn't just play the same songs in the same order over and over again whenever the macro fires. Anyone have any programming suggestions to do an Apple Music playlist shuffle? Composer HE & Director Version 2.9.
Crustyloafer
You need create a macro to start playback, enable shuffle mode and then skip first track immediately then it will be playing in shuffle mode.
JerryR
Does enabling shuffle mode on Sons work? It seems to be more geared towards Digital Media player within the C4 system. Or maybe I'm missing it.
Home Theater Advisors
Newest sonos driver has a shuffle command. Not in digital media, I do not believe. Not in front of composer, so can’t check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
