tcwalker5
Can the APD dimmer be used without C4 and/or Zigbee? Or is it completely disabled until it is programmed into the system? I can't find this detail in the specs, so I'm guessing it won't work.

sonic30101
They turn on/off and press and hold will dim the light though there are much cheaper alternatives

It'll work but no system means that the LEDS will be all green, plus I've found they don't respond as w2ell until they are on a system/updated to the latest version vs factory version. They will eventually get programmed. I was just trying to coordinate the install so that we are functional between the time I install the dimmer and the time it gets programmed. 6 minutes ago, Cyknight said: Ehhh. What should I expect when you say "won't respond well"? delays, press and no action, etc?
Cyknight
tap to on/off works fairly well, find that press and hold isn't as responsive.
