It seems to be hit and miss, using a plug socket (for a Christmas tree, actually) that's connected to Hue via C4 for example. Ok, good to know.I guess I have to return the Lightify bulbs and get Hue only. Actually pretty sad as the Lightify bulbs are shorter and fit better into my lamps and are quite a but brighter.What do you use to turn on the Hue besides a C4 or Hue GUI/App? - wall switches, and if so which ones? Save your money Hi Do you also use bulbs from another manufacturer ? I plugged in some Osram lightify bulbs and those work fine via the Hue app on my phone but they don't work through Control4.
