bigdaddyo811
Why? The other 5 and 7s in this system didSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
thegreatheed
No they didn't. The only touchscreens that support 2.10 are T3s. None of the older touchscreens update past 2.9.1.
bigdaddyo811
Oh yes 2.91. Thanks. Any ideas how to get this one to 2.9Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
thegreatheed
You need to use the v1 device updater, not the v2.
thegreatheed
And why would you update to 2.5.3?
bigdaddyo811
I am using the v1 updater and the error is ": "Failed to download the 2.5.3-res.xml file from the http://update.control4.com/release2 location". I was trying to get to 2.53 because that's the only option that populates on the v1 updater. I figured I would use the v1 to get to 2.53 and then use v2 to try to get to 2.
thegreatheed
You should use the v1 updater to update them to 2.9.1.https://dealer.control4.com/dealer/knowledgebase/article/1734

I don't know what you're doing wrong, but follow the KB.

Amr
Ok, this has to do with your device itself, try to update it without replacing the restore image and see if it will update ...

Amr
It’s a faulty device unfortunately, Source one from eBay @ $50 ~ $60 and update it, it would be cheaper than C4 reflash, I just did that and I was really lucky to slice a couple at this low price ...
